40K call to arms

Postby Mekboy_Mike » 13 Jan 2010, 01:42

Ok, innaugural post... you might have seen me in store once or twice... I'm the guy who wears a beat-up punk leather jacket that reeks of whiskey and cigarettes and looks like a strange version of Hugh Jackman or Mike Ness that might have had his face ran over by a flatbed...

anyhow

I am an old, crusty 40K nerd, last time I played was 2nd edition (but I nostalgically remeber even rogue trader) and it is my intent to revitalize my old Ork army, build a good host of Nurgle, help a bud out with some Space Wolves, and just get back into the swing of it all.

So I ask you to announce your army (armies) here if you do your wars in the 41st... and if you do, pray to your Emperor, Avatar, or what have you... that once set foot on the field of battle I might have mercy upon your soul.
Half-glimpsed shadows? Ork wearing camouflage? Are we imbeciles? Orks are barbaric and entirely single-minded. Army dogma, which has served us well for ten thousand years, teaches us this. Guards! Take the prisoner to the holding cells to await execution!

I have 1000 points of space marines, and I'm starting a new army (I like to call the concept "exo-armor grots." It's a counts as Space Wolf all-terminator army using looted suits of termie armor).

I've got a few thousand Tyranid Swarm (Seeding swarm, actually), but I haven't played since 4th edition started about 4-5 years ago. I also have a 1500ish point necron army. I'm looking to get back into the swing of things when I visit wilmington a few times a year.
