Sim's player here. I just did some number-crunching, and realized that my Chaos Bolt is doing less damage than it should. Turns out that because Sim's a Chaos Sorcerer, he adds his Dex modifier to EVERY damage roll. So the jumped attacks for Chaos Bolts actually do 1d6+6 damage, including Staff damage bonus. I am now convinced that Chaos Bolt is the best at-will power in the game.

I've just now figured out how to make a Level 1 Human Rogue that can double-move 6 squares each, then spend an action point to shift 7 squares, attack, then shift 7 more squares. The scary thing is, that's not even the best I can do. If I made an elf, I could add 4 more squares of movement to that.
Albeit he'll have spent an action point, his only daily power, and would grant combat advantage until his next turn, but such is the price of being able to move 26-30 squares in one round without running, AND squeezing an attack in there.
And that's what I did today.

You do realize there is more to the game than min-maxing out combat abilities right?

I do, yes. The min-maxing is really just a result of extreme boredom and an unhealthy amount of free time.

DM, any issue with me re-creating my character as a 4E fighter instead of essentials? My character is just too basic, I'm wanting to use some different attacks and fighting styles.
