Group of players looking for one or two more

Postby Grimelark » 15 Sep 2011, 16:28

We are a group of players who have been playing together for about 10 years now. We play mostly 3.5 but are working into Pathfinder now as it's quite a good system. We also dabble in other games from time to time as 10 years is a long time to be playing any one game. Honestly we are looking for players who enjoy playing their characters and not just their stats. If you're interested in joining a long term gaming group please send me an email.

By the way we don't play at Cape Fear we play at my house mostly during the week from 7-11ish..

I'm not quite familiar with the Pathfinder system, but I've been playing 3.5 for around 3 years. I'll take this proposition into account.

Pathfinder and D&D 3.5 is basically the same game. They made Pathfinder a bit more difficult and added some things to the classes to help balance them out better with each other. To me it is what 4th edition should have been. Everyone at the table has played 3.5 since it's start and we all are enjoying Pathfinder immensely. Currently we're second level, and working our way into an ancient temple.

Are there any current home campaign or living Pathfinder games in the area? I'm afraid Pathfinder may not be that popular in Wilmington, but I'm still looking. I'm 36 yrs old, an avid gamer who as played and run hundreds of roleplaying games. I'm a big fan of Pathfinder, 3.5 and recently I've been getting into Savage Worlds, but I'm more interested in good people who enjoy a good game.

If you know of a good gaming group I would appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction. We gamers need to look out for one another. :)

Thanks for taking the time to read this over.
